Water softener is a technique to remove hardness in water which mainly caused by certain salts. The main cause of hardness can be derived from Calcium, Magnesium, & Bicarbonate.
Hard water is known to clog pipes and to complicate soap and detergent dissolving in water. Water softening can be achieved using lime softening or ion-exchange resins.
Water softening are used to expand the life span of household appliances, such as; laundry machines, plumbing, solar heating systems, air conditioning units and many other water-based applications. It is used in many applications such as: potable / drinking water, breweries & soda production, etc.
